No Response from the EDM Print Button

The option to print letters / pages from EDM can stop working and clicking the printer icon triggers no response what so ever.

This is a known fault which we are working to resolve but the following steps which you can try yourself should restore printing functionality as a workaround.

open the Tools options for Internet explorer in the browser tab where you have EDM open (this is the cog icon next to favourites star as highlighted yellow below)

Select "Manage Add-ons
Under "Show" change the drop down option to "All add-ons"
Select to highlight "Adobe PDF Reader"
Set to "Disable"

Close
If Adobe PDF Reader is not listed change the "Show" drop down to "Run without permission" and disable the add-on as above.
This should reactivate the print button in EDM and you will now be offered the option to open (then print) or save the file.
