WoW Not Powering On or Booting Up?
If the WoW (Workstation on Wheels) fails to power on or boot up, it's likely because all three batteries have completely discharged before plugging it into the wall socket, causing the unit to enter hibernation mode.
How to Power the WoW Back On
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
1️⃣Unplug the WoW from the wall socket.
2️⃣Remove all three batteries from the unit.
3️⃣Insert one fully charged battery into Battery Compartment 1.
4️⃣Once the WoW boots up, insert the remaining two batteries.
This process ensures the system restarts with a stable power source before the other batteries are reinserted.
How to Prevent This Issue
To avoid the WoW entering hibernation mode and ensure smooth operation:
✅ Charge the batteries regularly to prevent complete discharge.
✅ Rotate batteries before they run out to ensure continuous power.
✅ Keep at least one spare fully charged battery for quick replacements.
Batteries and Charging
Like a laptop, WoWs can be plugged into any standard 240v wall socket to charge its batteries. However, this will take longer than using the dedicated charging bay. Use any opportunity to plug the WoW into a socket to keep the batteries charged, as this will help prolong their life.
The more convenient option is to use the supplied charging cradles. These cradles can charge up to three batteries simultaneously, with a full charge taking approximately 2.5 hours.
Charging the Batteries:
When notified that a battery is running low, follow these steps:
1️⃣Open the appropriate cover at the back of the screen and pull the tab to remove the battery.
2️⃣Place the depleted battery into the charging dock.
3️⃣The LED on the dock will turn amber while the battery is charging. Once fully charged, the LED will turn green.
4️⃣After the battery is fully charged, insert it back into the WoW and close the slot.
📢By keeping the batteries charged and swapping them regularly, you'll ensure the Drug Cart and WoW continue to function efficiently with minimal downtime.
