Apple iCloud ID - mkuh.nhs.uk
MKUH is in the process of registering our domain (mkuh.nhs.uk) with Apple, meaning any iCloud IDs already in use, which are registered against this domain will be automatically re-assigned to our organisation, so we can manage and maintain the accounts.
We are doing this so we can enhance our capabilities with the Apple products we have at the trust and can continue to bring new features and improve the user experience.
Any staff that has registered their MKUH email address will be prompted to change this over the coming weeks. You will have 60 days to rename this to whatever you chose, otherwise it will give you a temporary iCloud ID account.
See the steps below to help assist you on how to change the Apple iCloud ID.
1. Open the Settings app on your device.
2. Tap your name, which appears near the top of your screen (it should say Apple ID under your name).
3. Select "Name, Phone Numbers, Email." You may need to enter your password to gain access.
4. Where it says "Reachable At," click the blue "Edit" button.
5. Tap the red minus "-" sign that appears next to your Apple ID.
6. A red "Delete" button will appear beside the email address. Tap "Delete" and then "Continue" in the pop-up.
7. You'll get a screen where you can enter an email address. If presented with a verification pop-up, tap "Allow" and enter the code that appears on your device. Enter your new email address, and tap "Next." Your new Apple ID should now be saved.
