External partnerships - What IT needs from you!
Modified on: Fri, 28 Feb 2025 16:10External Partnerships is a umbrella term that encompasses ANY agreements we have, or are putting in place with external Organisations (including other NHS Trusts), Agencies or specialised outsourcing or insourcing companies running a service, clinics, doing assessments/audits or assisting with a backlog of work for MKUH.
IT Requirements
➡️Notice: Provide as much notice as possible, ideally during initial discussions and well before the start date.
📢Note : If we find out last minute, this could mean delays to access being given.
➡️Form: Complete the Outsourcing/Insourcing/External Organisations form to help us assess requirements.
➡️Costs: Allowing access to MKUH systems comes at a cost to the Trust and as such all accounts will need to be licensed to access MKUH resources and ensure they are compliant. The cost per user is roughly £52.81 for 1 month term with monthly billing or £528.19 for 1 year team, with annual billing. This will need DSP approval before any licensing can be purchased, so this needs to be factored into the setup time.
➡️Licensing: Tailored based on required access; this may not include MS Office or an MKUH email address.
➡️HR : Please also ensure that you speak with HR regarding Honorary Contract requirements, they will then request the accounts to be setup.
