Loan Laptop Scheme

The Trust Laptop Loan Scheme has been designed to ensure all staff have access to secure and reliable devices for occasional remote work.
Key Benefits
➡️Flexibility: Access tools and resources from any location when needed.
➡️Security: Devices are updated regularly to meet compliance standards.
➡️Sustainability: Supports the Trust’s environmental and cost-saving goals by reusing hardware.
➡️Accessibility: Available to all staff for short-term needs.
Why can’t I have my own laptop?
The Trust has previously invested thousands of pounds in providing laptops to departments upon request. However, this has proven to be a false economy, as many of these devices are used infrequently or remain unused. Not only is this not cost-effective, but it also creates security risks—laptops that are not regularly used are often not maintained or updated with the latest security patches, leaving them (and the Trust) vulnerable to cyber threats.
How to request a Loan laptop❓
Follow these simple steps to request a laptop under the Loan Scheme:
- Submit a request: Loan Laptop Request
- Collect your device: Pick up the pre-configured laptop from the arranged collection point.
-
Return the device: When the laptop is no longer needed, return it to IT for reallocation.
