Planned Change - Upgrading Our Wireless Network May 2025
We will be upgrading our wireless network to support the latest Wi-Fi 7 technology. This upgrade is part of our ongoing quarterly maintenance to provide you with the best possible connectivity experience.
Why are we making this change?
🛜Faster Internet Speeds: With the new Wi-Fi 7 technology, you can expect significantly faster internet speeds.
🛜Better Connectivity: The upgrade will improve the overall reliability of our wireless network.
🛜Future-Ready: By upgrading to the latest technology, we are preparing our network for future advancements.
When Will This Happen?
The upgrade will take place between 8pm - 10pm on Tuesday 13th May 2025.
What should you do?
You don't need to do anything! IT will be onsite during this change period. There may be a small interruption to Wi-Fi service during this time frame.
If you experience connection issues, after the upgrade has completed, please reboot the device and check that you are connected to Wi-Fi. If you continue to experience issues, after 10pm, please follow the IT On-Call process if out of hours, or call the IT Service Desk in hours.
